Early Life and Struggles

On December 28, 2001, Yashasvi Bhupendra Kumar Jaiswal was born in Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. His mother, Kanchan Jaiswal, stays at home while his father, Bhupendra Jaiswal, owns a modest hardware store. He is the fourth of the family's six children. His family always encouraged him to pursue his passion of playing cricket, even though they came from a low-income background.

Yashasvi relocated to Mumbai when he was eleven years old in order to take cricket seriously. He lived in a tent at Azad Maidan alongside groundskeepers and made a living by selling pani puris because he had nowhere to stay and little money. On occasion, he also worked at a dairy store.
